The TINECHUNG HUMANITARIAN ASSOCIATION FOR DEVELOPMENT (TIHAD) has embarked on the construction of a modern Multipurpose Grandstand in Tinechung village, for common use.

In effect, TINECHUNG has two legalized Development Associations, TICADA and TIHAD.

The Grandstand project has been initiated by TINECHUNG HUMANITARIAN ASSOCIATION FOR DEVELOPMENT (TIHAD).

The foundation stone for the project was laid in Tinechung village by the Divisional Officer for Ngie Subdivision, Mr. Oteh philip BACHE, accompanied by the Lord Mayor of Andek council, Mr. Ubangoh Helly.

This is a typical example of how projects are initiated in the municipal, by seeking the approval of the Municipal council even for private constructions.

In fact, NO STRUCTURE is supposed to be erected in the municipality, private or communal, without the authorization of the Mayor.

The ÀNDEK Council shall move out in the days ahead to bring order in this sector, by placing injunctions on all illegal constructions.

The Andek council uses this opportunity to invited all those undertaking construction projects and those who intend to construct in ANDEK municipality to present their building plans and bill of quantities to the Mqyor, for approval; before the structures are pulled down by the municipal police.

Truly Ngie needs development but it must be done in line with the laws in force.
