The Divisional Officer for Ngie Subdivision, Mr. Oteh Philip BACHE together with the Lord Mayor of Andek Council, Mr. Ubangoh Helly, today, 6th Feb. 2025 launched the Andek Council roadworks for the year 2025.

The stretch of road between SCANWATER and ÀNDEK that had been a nightmare to travelers to Ngie has been completely transformed.

The ongoing rehabilitation works in Andek Municipality is expected to touch most of the council roads.

The Lord Mayor has assured the population of the municipality and travelers into and out of the municipality that all is being done, by the council, to completely end the suffering of the people and travelers of the municipality, as far as roads are concerned. All the bad spots on the roads shall be systematically concreted. Council workers shall be assigned to particular portions of the roads, to ensure continuous drainage throughout the year.
