On Tuesday, 7th Jan. 2025, The Divisional Officer for Ngie Subdivision, Mr. Oteh Philip BACHE, accompanied by the Lord Mayor of Andek Council, Mr. Ubangoh Helly, visited some schools and the Medicalized Health Centre of Andek to assess the level of resumption of schools for the second term, in the municipality and the readiness of the Health Unit to attain to emergency cases.

The attendance by pupils in the primary schools sector was encouraging but the teachers were very few while at the secondary sector there were few principals and few teachers present.
