A marriage certificate is obtained through a formal registration process with Andek Council Area as the place of the couple’s birth, residence, or where the marriage ceremony occurred. This process includes providing necessary documents, declaring intent to marry, and having the marriage registered.

Requirements for obtaining a marriage certificate at Andek Council

Declaration at Andek Council Civil Registry and Publication:

Both spouses must declare their intent to marry and have the declaration published for a period of one month in the civil status registry of Andek Council. This allows for any objections to the marriage to be raised.

Documents:

The couple typically needs to provide their national identity cards, the identity cards of two witnesses, and potentially other documents depending on their circumstances (e.g., birth certificates, proof of age, parental consent for minors).

Registration with Andek Council Civil Registry:

The marriage is then registered with Andek Council civil registrar, and a marriage certificate is issued.
