Demolition permits are an administrative act authorizing the partial or total destruction of a building. Demolition permits may be deferred to protect the interests of building occupants or to preserve historical heritage. There may be fees associated with the application process, potentially including a percentage of the building’s estimated cost. 

Requirements to obtaining a Demolition Permit at Andek Council

Obtain the Application Form:

A completed application form is required, which can be obtained from the Andek Council Technical Office. 

 Complete and Sign the Form:

The form must be fully completed and signed by the property owner or their designated agent. 

Submit the Application:

The completed form, along with any required supporting documents, must be submitted to the Mayor’s office. 

Review and Decision:

The Mayor will review the application, potentially involving a review board or commission. 

Notification of Decision:

The final decision, whether the permit is granted or denied, will be notified to the applicant by the Mayor.
