The Divisional Officer for Ngie subdivision, Mr. Oteh Philip Bache and the Lord Mayor of Andek council last Feb. 7th 2025 participated in the AGM of ANGAI Development Association at Angai.

After EBANG, AJEI, TINECHUNG it was the turn of Angai Cultural and Development Association to hold its Annual General Assembly meeting in its village, as normalcy is rerunning following the ongoing Anglophone crisis.

This determination by the Elite of some villages for life to return to normalcy in their village, by causing activities in the village that can bring back the citizens of the village is a clear indication that normalcy is fast returning and that every other elite of Ngie can come home unperturbed.

And that the NCADA AGM can conveniently and physically hold in Andek unperturbed. And not to convert Ngie to become a WhatsApp Community, where everything is done on the social media; giving the wrong impression that there are no longer people living in the municipality.

It is good to note that non of the purported kidnappings of Ngie persons along the Bamenda-Ngie road has ever taken place on the Ngie territory !!!!!

The meeting raised the sum of 2.5 millions Francs for the extension of low tension electricity to the village.

The Lord Mayor promised to support them with the offer of a transformer in the nearest future.

The Lord Mayor used to opportunity to promise the supply of transformers to their neighborhoods in the municipality that can work in partnership with the council for the extension of electricity to their neighborhood.
