A delegation made up of the the Neighborhood Coordinator, the Community Head, some Internal and External Elite of Ngwenjin-Azem paid a courtesy visit to the Lord Mayor of Andek Council, Mr. Ubangoh Helly, on Wednesday, 8th Jan. 2025, in the council chambers at Andek; to thank the Lord Mayor for budgeting the installation of pipe borne water in NGWENJIN this year, 2025.

Speaking during the reception, which was attended by the Divisional Officer for Ngie Subdivision, Mr. Oteh Philip Bache, Mr. Ndam Aaron, an elite of the community who works in the civil cabinet of the presidency of the Republic, assured the Lord Mayor that the people of NGWENJIN, through their Neighborhood Committee, are going to possess the project and make sure that it’s effectively reaslized, amidst the security challenges in the area.

The Neighborhood Coordinator, like Oliver Twist, encouraged the Lord Mayor to grant many more projects to the Ngwenjin Community, which is the gateway into ÀNDEK Municipality, from Widikum.

The Lord Mayor, Mr. Ubangoh Helly, assured the visitors that work is soon to begin on the Andek-Teze-Ngwenjin road.

The Divisional Officer, Mr. Oteh Philip Bache, assured the people of Azem of his determination to chase away terrorists from the area, in the days ahead.
