The Lord Mayor of Andek, Mr. Ubangoh Helly, together with the Divisional Officer for NGIE Subdivision, Mr. Oteh Philip BACHE, have shared textbooks to all pupils of some functional schools in the municipality.

The distribution that went to pupils from many communities of the municipality- Tinechung, Etwii, ACHANG, Mbabum, Bonanyang, Mbambe, ÀNDEK, etc took place at the premises of the Andek Council in Andek on 20th Nov. 2024.

The books shared were Donated to the state of Cameroon by UNESCO through MINEDUB.

The ceremony was witnessed by the staff of the inspectorate and some Neighborhood Coordinators and Head Teachers(who accompanied the pupils).

It was an exiting ceremony, which enabled some children to see ÀNDEK for the very first time. It also saw the participation of a large number of children from the minority group, the Mborroros.
