Andek Municipality (Ngie) is composed of 19 autonomous Fondoms and two ardorates. The 19 Fondoms correspond to 19 villages which are Abebung, Abichia, Ajei, Akuwu, Andek, Angai, Angong, Azem, Bassic, Bonambofei, Bonatou, Ebang, Echia, Esaw, Etwii, Etoh, Nkon, Teze, Tinechung and the two ardorates being Ajei and Tinekooh.. Andek Council is run by an Executive composed of Mr. Ubangoh Helly Manyelle Akoba as Lord Mayor, Mr. Tcheikoh Akende John as 1st Deputy Mayor and Mrs. Ukum Florence as 2nd Deputy Mayor with a deliberative organ of 25 Councillors.

Effective construction work underway in the TEZE
Effective work underway in the TEZE Market as Lord Mayor Ubangoh Helly personally decended to TEZE today, 27th Feb. 2026, accompanied by some members of his technical services, to supervise the demolition of some makeshift structures in the dilapidated market, to give way to the construction of an ultramodern market by LINCOCO Construction company Ltd.

THÉ PEOPLE OF BAITEI NEIGHBORHOOD ELECT A NEW COORDINATOR.
Saturday, 16th January 2026 was a memorable in BAITEI, Ngie Subdivision, as the people of this community of ETWII village came out en masse to elect a new Coordinator, to replace Mr. Fonangwan Jerry, who passed away.
The people of TEZE, Andek and TINECHUNG villages have thanked the Head of State of Cameroon, President Paul Biya, for the offer of 3 giant ultra modern markets being constructed in these communities, as fallouts of the Presidential Plan for the Reconstruction and Development of the NW and SW Regions.
This vote of THANKS from the people of Ngie Subdivision in general and the villages of TEZE, ANDEK and TINECHUNG, in particular, came during the presentation of the contractors to realize these huge projects, at the TEZE and Andek sites, by the Lord Mayor of Andek council, Mr. Ubangoh Helly.
SOME WIDOWS OF ANDEK MUNICIPALITY BENEFITED FROM THE LARGESSE OF MADAME MBAH ACHA IGXTELLE BOPGIMA yesterday, 24TH DEC. 2025
(daughter of H.E Minister Mbah Acha Rose Fomundam) yesterday, 24th Dec. 2024 as a total sum of 986,000F CFA was distributed by Lord mayor Ubangoh Helly, acting on the behalf of the donor. This enabled each widow to receive the sum of 34,000F CFA for the celebration of Christmas.
